MANSFIELD – Russ Booth, a North Attleboro administrator and Mansfield resident, has been hired as the new principal at Mansfield High School, School Superintendent Teresa Murphy announced this week.

MHS principal Mary Watkins left in November to take a new position near her home in Rhode Island after five years on the job.

In the meantime, MHS Assistant Principal Timothy Tichacek has served as interim principal.
