Mansfield senior center, baseball complex projects get $150,000

MANSFIELD – Plans to build a new Council on Aging at the site of the former police station is receiving a $100,000 boost in federal funds, according to a press release from the office of state Sen. Paul Feeney, D-Foxborough.

Improvements to the Otis Baseball Complex in Mansfield also will receive $50,000.

In March, the Massachusetts Legislature advanced an appropriations bill that directs federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and fiscal 2021 surplus funding to assist the state’s ongoing recovery and make targeted investments to critical sectors of the economy and local infrastructure, the release stated.
