Mansfield bio-incubator hailed as part of life science ‘convergence’

MANSFIELD — Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development Secretary Jay Ash used the opening of a new biotech incubator facility to plug the governor’s so-called life science initiative Wednesday that would channel $500 million into biotech over the next five years.

The Mansfield Bio-Incubator inside a converted warehouse on Francis Avenue held a formal grand opening Wednesday as a center for start-up companies in medical research, diagnostics, biopharma and medical devices.
