MANSFIELD – The water department has been recognized with two prestigious awards from the Massachusetts Water Works Association.

The department has been chosen to receive a Community Award, which is given to a community water system that best exemplifies the highest standards of water works.

The water system is one which “continually do things right,” said Jennifer Pederson, executive director of MWWA. “Mansfield provides the full package when it comes to proper management of a growing public water system.”
