MANSFIELD – Nancy Wall has served a total of 42 years on four different Mansfield boards and committees.

“The one word that comes to mind for me for Nancy is persistence,” Select Board Chair Neil Rhein said at the March 16 meeting where Wall was honored for her service to the town. “She has a vision for something and she keeps going at it until it gets down. In particular I think of the (Mansfield) mural on 106. She pretty much single handedly pulled that project off.”

Wall recently stepped down from the Non-Profit Gift Fund after serving for 15 years. She also left her position on Keep Mansfield Beautiful where she served for eight years.
