MANSFIELD, MA — Mansfield Police Chief Ron Sellon released a statement denouncing the actions of the Minneapolis police officers involved in the death of George Floyd as he assured Town residents that his department is “commitment to the fair and equal treatment for every person.”

The statement was issued in the wake of weekend protests, which turned violent in cities across the country — including Boston—after the police killing of Floyd in Minneapolis last week.
