MANSFIELD – The Mansfield police and fire departments were on the move this past week settling into the new $22 million public safety building on Route 106.
“Today was finally the day!,” the Mansfield Fire Department announced on Facebook Monday, Aug. 12. “We officially opened the new joint public safety facility.”
From this point on, all public business inquiries, walk-ins and visitors should go to the new building at 500 East St. The police and fire departments will no longer be conducting administration business at the stations at 50 West St. and 10 Plymouth St., according to an announcement this week from Fire Chief Neal Boldrighini and Police Chief Ron Sellon.
