The Mansfield Municipal Electric Department invited 50 of the Town’s largest electricity users to a breakfast June 7 at the Holiday Inn. Some 30 representatives from 19 companies attended.

MMED General Manager Joseph Sollecito said the event was designed to give the businesses a chance to get together and get acquainted, to meet with Town officials and department heads and to over MMED initiatives to help customers save money and energy.

“All of us have a vested interested to see industry work in Mansfield,” Sollecito said. “If businesses save money, they will be more profitable and this will help them to stay in Mansfield.”
