MANSFIELD — Hiring a Town economic development director would help attract additional businesses and customers to Downtown, members of the industrial development commission told selectmen Wednesday.
Bob Krentzman, chairman of the board that has conducted a number of surveys and interviews with business leaders, said his six-member board is working actively to collect information and promote Mansfield as a good place to shop and do business.
“As a six member board, there’s a lot we can do,” said Krentzman. “But we all have day jobs.”
